Liberty's Quest
Liberty Kovacs is a self-actualized, Greek-American octogenarian who grew up (and lived much of her adult life) between cultures. In spite of the drama and challenges, Libby led a life of admirable perseverance and courage to be all she could be. She not only changed generational patterns by attending nursing school and college at the price of being disowned by her father, she went all the way to earn an MFT and MSN, and then at age 52, a Ph.D.
She worked as a marriage and family therapist into her late seventies. On top of this, she raised three sons, sometimes single parenting, sometimes being caught in the middle with step-parent issues.
This is the inspiring story of a true journey of freedom and soul searching. Learn how she's found her way and is still living her life strong to this day. This is Liberty's Quest.

"With great will Liberty Kovacs lives her own epic tale. Never has life been easy, never has she succumbed to a challenge, never has she shown anything but incredible courage and grit." –
- Danelle Drake
"...a beacon of wisdom for women..."
- June Gillam
Liberty is the quintessential Mother, mother to all, even
those who are not her children. She lives, or at least
everyday strives to, "with love, acceptance, and
generosity," and it seems she is only met with the
opposite. Her Greek family was utterly traditional, in the
sense that the men were oppressively dominant. When
she breaks away from her father's plans, she starts a
family and a career, thinking that the worst is behind
her. Unfortunately for her, but fortunately for all of us
that now get to indulge in her tale, she falls back into a
familiar cycle of adversity.
